| Job Description : | Duties and Responsibilities – Construct and manage a System Safety Program IAW AR 385-10, MIL-STD-882E, AMCOM Regulation 385-17. Perform safety analyses to verify safe system operation, integration, storage, transport, and maintenance. Identify and track hazards, identify and manage flight critical items, and identify and resolve safety issues. Participate in a Systems Safety Working Group (SSWG) review and assess on-going program flight and field operations regarding safety issues to include reviews of operations, maintenance, and training procedures / documents. Knowledge/Skill Requirements – BS degree from an accredited engineering school and 5 years minimum related systems safety engineering experience, or MS degree from an accredited engineering school and 3 years minimum of related systems safety engineering experience, or Ph.D. from an accredited school of Engineering and 2 years of related systems safety engineering experience.
