The Staff Engineer– Customer Quality will provide best in class support for Quality and Reliability to the customers.
Specific Job Description:
A strong customer advocate and voice of customer within Velodyne.
A trusted partner of customers and sales to drive customer satisfaction.
Single point of contact to provide customer quality and reliability support.
Coordinate 8D/Problem solving for customer failures and RMAs, complaints, issues, working with engineering, operations, supplier quality, production etc.
Coordinate all Customer audits and close all issues successfully.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Operations teams to improve customer satisfaction
Continual improvement.
Required Skills and Experience Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Engineering.
5 years of demonstrated successful experience in customer quality in high technology industry.
Experience in customer 8D reporting, customer quality contracts review and compliance, customer quality surveys, customer quality reporting etc.
Excellent skills in methodology for customer quality requirement compliance.
Excellent knowledge of PCN and PDN processes.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
