As a Lead, you will be in charge of a small group of engineers focused on a particular product line. The selected candidate will apply their skills in leadership and design in order to develop and support our “Design it Right” initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity, to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format. The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following: Complex electrical circuit design and analysis. Firmware (VHDL) development including participation in DO-254 certification. Scheduling and earned value reporting Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting. Simplifying the Engineering Service Model, knowledge transfer by mentoring junior engineering talent. It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.
