Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Engineering General Summary The ATE test engineering role will have responsibilities to develop ATE HW and SW solution for high volume semiconductor manufacturing. Fulfilling these responsibilities will involve development of ATE tests per specification, correlation to bench measurements, characterization of product performance and release to production optimized test solutions. Will collaborate in a cross functional team environment and contribute in the areas of technical assessment, problem solutions, engineering disciplines, team leadership, and execution to achieve results. Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and circuit solving skills. Working knowledge of RF, PLL and measurements such as IP3, NF, ACPR, jitter, phase noise. Working knowledge of Mixed-Signal ADC, DAC, PLL, PMIC and measurements such as INL, DNL, Gain and Offset Error, SFDR, THD+N, line/load regulation, PSRR, transition time and amplifier efficiency. Able to work with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, time interval analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, etc). Knowledge in RF, mixed-signal, or analog PCB design including CAD interface, Test board design, debug, and development. Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly. Experience with Teradyne or Advantest RF test systems is strongly preferred. Familiarity with cellular standards such as CDMA2000, 1X-EVDO, WCDMA, UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, or wireless peripheral standards such as 802.11x WLAN or other OFDM-based systems, GPS, and Bluetooth is desirable. Basic Qualifications 3 years of ATE RF test engineering experience RF, digital, and mixed signal semiconductor device fundamentals and circuit experience RF ATE HW design experience Educational Requirements: BSEE required MSEE preferred Physical RequirementsFrequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Information Systems Work Experiences: 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience. Certifications: Skills: Preferred Qualifications Education: Work Experiences: 2+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc. ,2+ years experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software. ,2+ years experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF). ,4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
