Job Description : Job SummaryPlans and directs activities with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards and systems, to assure manufactured products meet customer requirements and expectations.Decision MakingAssociate has broad latitude within the defined scope of responsibility in setting objectives and deciding how to proceed consistent with corporate and plant goals and objectives.Key Accountabilities· Address, investigates and resolves customer quality concerns· Ensure quality processes are stable, and meeting customer expectations· Develops teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement creative solutions· Contributes to continuous improvement to help drive costs down and improve the overall plant quality performance metrics· Maintain statistical process controls, evaluates and applies metrology / statistical methods to diagnose and correct quality deficiencies· Monitors and tracks customer quality ratings/scores· Recommends techniques for problem solving including determining cost cause, implementing corrective actions and monitoring results.· Prepare all necessary quality documents to support product realization: Control Plan, PPAP, etc· Actively involved in meeting corporate standards and procedures e.g. safe launch containment, layered process audits, product audit, etc.· Other duties as assigned by quality managerKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesEducationMinimum: BS degree, preferably technical field (Industrial, Mechanical, etc.)2+years equivalent experience in manufacturing environment, preferably automotiveKnowledge and ability to manage and meet ISO 9000/IATF 16949 standardPreferred: ASQ-CQE certified.ExperienceMinimum: Knowledge and skills typically acquired through 2-plus years’ experience, problem solving methodology 8D´s, SPC, Core Tools, FMEA, PPAP and APQP.Competencies· Well-developed active listening and team skills.· Communicates effectively (verbal and written) with individuals at all levels inside and outside the company.· Analytical and Problem Solving skills consistent with the ability to identify corrective actions from a broad range of alternatives and recommended optimal solutions.· Consulting and influencing skills consistent with the ability to build relationships and influence parties; may include getting parties to embrace changing expectations and initiatives.· Ability to develop/coordinate cross-functional work groups projects, yielding optimal outcomes.· Working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, practices, and ability to meet challenges.· Proficiency in the following Software applications; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.· Provide leadership through example in a unionized environment consistent with prevailing collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.· Motivates through ‘leading by the example,’ coaching and mentoring and providing ongoing constructive feedback to subordinate staff; competent in consistently eliciting the best efforts and results from subordinate staff.· Deals effectively with resistance and road blocks, takes positive steps to avoid the recurrence of errors through constructive critique.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Frederick, OK 73542: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
