Key Responsibilities

Train to perform in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
Train to properly document all inspections and assessments in accordance with company and client standards.
Train to ensure compliance with applicable sections of the ASME, National Board and jurisdictional code requirements.
Attend and pass the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector’s In-Service inspector’s course

COMPETENCIES

Demonstrated experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry, such as design fabrication, operation, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.
Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
The ability to maintain a territory.
Be able to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Pursue training and development opportunities; strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; share expertise with others; ability to successfully complete Bureau Veritas required training.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training in boiler and pressure vessel operations, maintenance, repairs or inspections.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
