Will you answer?Group/DivisionThe Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and efficiency of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts’ network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Responsibilities: Work seamlessly with the development team on design challenges relevant to Service (Diagnostics, Reliability, Matching, Stability)Influence Designers to embrace features that optimize KLA’s Service business: Calibrations, Diagnostics, Cost of Service, Reliability, IP protectionAct as 2-way bridge between design team and tech support and service personnelSupport laser scanner tools – troubleshooting, data analysis, stability and matchingPerform detailed analysis and troubleshooting, share findings, and drive standardizationService documentation for new products,Support product ramp for NPI worldwide – Early shippers/Beta launch support, PM validation and improvementDevelop and drive Cost of Service reduction roadmapFeature Requirement Specification Document definition and executionSupport Product Life Cycle work you’re doing, Service Readiness Reviews, and Phase Exits.Provide training and critical issue support to manufacturing and the field on both development and released productsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with two years’ of experience OR Master’s Degree of 0 years’System level trouble shooting experienceAbility to travel =20%Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in ME/Optics/Physics/EE preferredKLA or similar Semiconductor Capital Equipment OEM experience highly preferableWe offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
