| Job Description : | Conduct field and site visits to collect relevant project information. This will include exact measurements of existing equipment, site details, cross-connect inventory, digital images, staking, etc…Read and interpret client cable records and work requests.A working knowledge of various client systems, including CADD systems (NDS, FROGS, etc.).Collect pertinent information as required for permits and easements. This may include some on-premise research in various mediums.Submit an organized job package for each project that could include maps, field notes, construction drawings, splice details, count assignments, easement documents, power applications and digital images.Possess solid knowledge of Outside Plant Engineering across multiple disciplines and clients.o Service Orders / Routines / BAUo Obligatory DOT work / Road Moveso Special Projects (FttH, CAF, RDOF, etc)Dress and work professionally within an office environment and in the field working as a representative of our company and our clients.Work safely and independent of supervision.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree and/or AutoCAD is a plus.At least 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.Ability to travel; to be onsite and to work effectively outside in variable weather conditions.Must have a solid work ethic and reliable transportation.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Have you worked with FTTH?Experience:Telecommunication: 10 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
