Job Opening for Operations Engineer in Amazon.com Services LLC (Renton, WA)

Job summary

We are looking for experienced process engineers with the ability to deep dive, invent and simplify and who have a high degree of ownership.
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing operational processes to design, develop, test, launch and continuously improve. You will work with the Amazon Kitchen organization to understand their business models and generate requirements. You will work cross-functionally with program managers, food safety, finance teams, operations managers and product developers on medium to large scale projects.

Key job responsibilities

Engage with product, development, and program stakeholders to document requirements, create functional specifications and generate process maps.
Design, develop, test, launch and improve on processes and supporting documentation of operational workflows.
Understand and leverage existing Amazon continuous improvement services to develop a continuous improvement program.
Deep dive operational issues to propose and implement simple and effective solutions.
MBA or advanced Engineering degree preferred.
Experience in manufacturing / process improvement (eg. Lean-Six Sigma).
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and ERP systems.
Willing to “roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done” to consistently deliver results.
