| Job Description : | OBD Calibration Engineer Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.Must be available to start working within 3 weeks of offer acceptance date.Our client is hiring an OBD Calibration Engineer to join our growing team in Mount Vernon, Washington.We offer a competitive salary and benefits plan, and great opportunities for career growthJob DescriptionCalibrate and optimize OBD engine and aftertreatment functions, meeting Customer and Regulatory Requirements.Perform pre-calibration work on an engine dyno and apply it to the vehicle level.Perform diagnostic routines, report findings, and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Minimum of 3 years of OBD Calibration experience in the Automotive or Heavy Truck industry.Strong knowledge of OBD Regulatory Requirements.In-depth knowledge of Powertrain Management Systems.Familiar with calibration of Engine Controls.Experience with calibration Engineering Tools, such as ATI Vision, MATLAB / Simulink.Able to write scripts to post-process engineering data.Works well independently or in a team environment.Able to effectively manage personal workload and capable of multi-tasking.Flexibility to shifting time and project demands.Excellent analysis and communication skills.Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Job Types: Full-time, TemporarySalary: $55.00 – $75.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusCOVID-19 considerations:Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:OBD Calibration in Automotive/Truck: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
