Responsibilities
Support continuous improvement productivity and maximize profitability while maintaining a reliable and safe manufacturing environment
Take a part in preparing proposals for budgeting upcoming projects.
Technical review of commercial offer from contractors or vendors, to verify needed scope of works and materials.
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Participate and support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for identifying, ranking, and reducing risks.
Based on safety policy support mechanical department in developing work permits for contractors and EGGER employers.
Document and record projects in files that include part files, assembly files, drawing files and layout drawings.
Assist in the commissioning of new plant equipment and other systems to ensure that the introduction into the production facility is handled efficiently and within minimum disruption.
Providing technical support to mechanical department in case of not typical problems and reasons investigation.
Preparing preliminary descriptions, estimations and clarifications for tendering package.
Communication with external design company’s in frame of preparing drawings packages for future installation.
Our Qualifications
Knowledge of raw materials, manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective production process.
Knowledge of software including but not limited to SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, fluids and piping systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or other Manufacturing Engineering discipline
Previous experience in industrial environment
