We are growing and are looking for an Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team to support the growing needs of our manufacturing operations. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering & Advanced Technology Manager.Job Responsibilities: As a member of the Engineering team, you will provide support to assist with Engineering process improvement projects as well as Manufacturing support initiatives that are managed by the Engineering team.Engineering Support Responsibilities include:Developing, building, modifying or testing processes, procedures or new equipmentNew product developmentProcess improvementsPerform experiments/tests, including data collection & analysis, and report findingsManufacturing Support Responsibilities include:Providing assistance with analyzing product quality issues.Monitor & adjust manufacturing processes (with Eng input & oversight) for quality & productivitySet up and maintain equipment, perform in-process inspections, and assist with manufacturing operations, when necessaryAdhere to GMP’s & Lean Manufacturing practicesRequired Skills and Experience: Ability to manage multiple & varied responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervisionAble to take direction & run with it; be the “go to” person, a “doer” and implementerExperience working in a manufacturing environment; preferably ISO9001/AS9100Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written & verbal communication skillsExperience in measurement methods and practicesMechanical aptitudeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:We follow CDC and NYS guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Work Location: One location |
