| Job Description : | The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the Design & Development of products and coordination of manufacturing processes. A Manufacturing Engineer will develop innovative solutions for continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain the Drawing Management System in accordance with Global CAD Rules.Local Design Control activities aligned with Engineering Department in Germany.Maintain the Product Data Management (PDM).Creation of drawings and 3D models.Generate technical modification for drawing revisions.Creation of work instructions.Design and Improvement of process maps, control plans, and process FMEA.Continuous improvement of production cell design and processes.Design and develop tooling for production cell.Collaborate with Application Engineers for quoting custom designed products.Collaborate with Purchasing on new supplier designed products.Support Purchasing with part information during part creation process.Collaborate with cross-functional team during corrective actions.Take part in change management.Develop internal standards and documented guidelines.Compiles with ISO 9001:2015.Skills and Abilities:SolidWorks certification or 2 years’ experience with SolidWorksProficiency in Microsoft Office software (All Applications)Proficiency in PDM (Product Data Management) softwareUnderstanding of APQP methodologyExcellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years’ experience in relevant field.BenefitsHow STAUFF contributes to your Success!Medical, dental and vision benefits for you and your family!401(k) with Company profit-shareGenerous Paid Time OffFlex Spending Account (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Referral BonusTuition ReimbursementA competitive base salaryJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
