Job Opening for Industrial Engineer, Staff in Qcom (6960 Camino Maquiladora, San Diego, CA 92154)

The candidate will be responsible to understand and influence wafer fab modeling and scheduling along with capacity resource optimization within the Qualcomm foundry partners. They must be able to run different supply scenarios by factoring in fab capacity and proactively identifying and resolving supply constraints. The position will communicate regularly with foundry partners and internal sourcing, planning, finance, and business units. Monitor changing customer requirements and work with cross-functional teams to evaluate our ability to support the customer in timely manner. The candidate must have excellent learning and analytical capabilities, be comfortable deep diving into data, along with provide in depth analysis and recommendations. The candidate also needs to have strong communication skills and can communicate clearly and effectively to all levels in a global operation environment.

Lastly, the candidate will assist in development of automated supply chain solutions (rapid response improvement, tableau reporting). Participate in the strategic planning, development, integration, and implementation of technology applications to support global planning processes. Along with helping develop key metrics and data analytics to enable continued growth critical to supply chain infrastructure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors – Industrial Engineering
Work Experiences:
4+ years industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering experience.

Masters – Engineering Management, Masters – Industrial Engineering
Work Experiences:
1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). ,4+ years industrial engineering experience in a semiconductor, assembly, and/or testing company.
