| Job Description : | As a Food Technologist/Process Engineer, you’ll enhance plant production processes to hit your team’s goals of safety, quality, service, cost, and sustainability. If you have knowledge of production processes and food science this role is for you. You will work with Category Leadership Team and Core Regional Teams (Quality, Safety, Maintenance Reliability, Autonomous Maintenance, R&D, Procurement, Engineering) to Optimize product/process (from raw materials to packed food) to deliver image product with lowest consumer complaints and lowest cost. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS Leads category reviews, coaches front line leaders, managers and provides feedback to ensure we are delivering value within the site and category for process improvements and stability within processing across the category. Works with cross functional team to design and develop training plans to build capability and knowledge within our plant processing area on key food forms (KWS, MR, R&D, etc.). Lead, Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve production processes. Develops and maintains best practices and technical training for their category Provides innovative and cost-effective improvements with respect to new or existing products or processes. Drive loss elimination in production processes – food losses and waste – downtime due to processing issues Closely collaborate with R&D on food image and technical expertise. Collaborate with the corporate R&D to ensure product manuals are current. Collaborate with other quality functions for ingredient and technical expertise. the CIPO center through the plant MR lead and category MR lead to ensure health and capability are delivered. Drives for continuous margin enhancement of product portfolio through management of raw material innovation at the site Manages process and product controls through links with DDS, MOC, PES and additional processes at the plant level as needed Required: Work experience with a minimum of 5 years in food processing Demonstrated experience in food processing and/or food packaging Coaching and collaboration skills. Ability to lead through influence. Problem solving capabilities Bonus Points: Bachelor’s degree in food processing, food science or related field Experience in the food and beverage industry.
