Are you ready to make a difference?We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our team, The Environmental Engineer or Geologist will initially (the first year) work on a major project construction site, with other engineers and scientists. Following the completion of this project the individual will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on other challenging and exciting projects. Do you thrive with a range of interesting assignments?Essential Functions-What You Will DoObserve and document earthwork construction activities; Assist with design and implementation of remediation systems, including oversight of site cleanups.Perform environmental investigations at sites with soil, groundwater, and soil vapor contamination.Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of field data.Perform environmental due diligence assessments.Assist project managers in developing recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and bid documents.Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.Deliver value! Do you strive for excellence and like to help others succeed?Competencies-What We Are Looking ForInterested candidates should have 0-2 years relevant experience and a BS or MS Degree in civil or environmental engineering or geology.Be working toward Professional Licensure.Ability to demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement or professional experience in relevant areas such as contaminated site investigations, remediation, and/or preparation of plans and specifications.Familiarity with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and databases are beneficial.Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.Reach your potential!
