We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who have a hands-on attitude and make great ideas a reality.Job posting end date: 03/31/2022Summary/ObjectiveThe Engineering Technician is responsible for conducting tests, constructing equipment, and working with internal/external customers.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetup up and conduct various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and chemical tests on company products, competitor’s products, and various devices and designs.Evaluate, test, design and construct new equipment as needed.Collaborate with various internal departments and external customers (Vendors, subcontractors, distributors, end users) to complete projects.Accurately operate computers, programmable ladder logic controls and data acquisition gathering systems.Perform a wide variety of testing that require creativity, imagination and considerable judgment in making decisions based on precedent and policies along with considerable freedom of actions that allows wide latitude both in type of work and work locations. Assigned tasks are complex, technical, and often change definition as the technician works toward final results.Work under general direction of supervisor and manager, referring more complex cases to supervision for clarification or interpretation of policy or practice.Responsibility for accuracy and work quality. Accuracy of data is essential because it influences product design, use, and decisions.Protect confidential company and customer data.May perform other miscellaneous duties as prescribed by supervisor.Required Education and ExperienceAssociates Degree in any of the following: Basic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.The ability to work in a customer service environment.Must be fully capable of using Microsoft Office products.
