Here’s the Gist: The Engineering Technician will be collaborating with engineers and executing independently on supporting measurement needs from the team and technology development related projects. The Day-to-Day: Operate standard technology characterization/evaluation measurements, including DC, PIV, CV, S-parameter, load pull, 50ohm bench measurements, and etc. Assist in DUT (device under test) management, including submitting assembly requests, tracking sample status and information needed by engineers. Perform characterization/measurement on transistor die-level & RF power amplifier circuit level, including DC, Pulsed-IV, Capacitance-Voltage (CV), S-parameter, load pull, 50ohm RF bench measurements, and etc. Perform test bench setup and trouble-shooting. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Perform bench calibration and routine verification to guarantee data accuracy Organize, pre-screen and report measurement data under engineer’s guidance Assist in test and data management automation Assist in developing and tuning RF power amplifier test fixtures Maintain and develop calibration and measurement procedure documents based on direct hands-on experience This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): 2 year technical school degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience. Good basic engineering math skills Good writing and communication skills Ability to work from schematics, pictorial presentations, written and verbal instructions to follow standard test procedures. Detail oriented and ability to work within schedule restraints This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
