| Job Description : | ENTRY LEVEL PROJECT MANAGER/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ASSISTANTJob Summary: Currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as an Entry Level Project Management/Mechanical Engineering Assistant located in the Carson, CA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Assist in planning and coordinating schedules to complete projects within budget and time constraints-Work closely with Project Manager/vendors on ordering, expediting, and tracking of materials.-Support Project Manager for day to day tasks-Effective at working with other staff members in a fast-paced environment-Resolution of project issues and problems in a timely fashion-Preparation of project submittal and closeout packages-Management of incoming construction documents-Excellent oral and written communication and organized skillsRequired Qualifications: -Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills-Desire to learn and grow within the HVAC industry-Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications: -B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.-Ability to read mechanical construction drawings-Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Sage Timberline, Laserfische,-Experience with project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control, and material procurement preferred.Company Description: Air-Tec is an established Mechanical Contractor in Carson providing reliable HVAC services in the Los Angeles area.
