| Job Description : | Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate engineered solutions for AV projects. Generate technical Scopes of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOMs) and detailed design narratives for engineered solutions and cost estimates. Analyze blueprints, drawings and design specifications to prepare compliant engineered solutions and cost estimates. Responsible for engineering and the associated cost estimates for small to large integrated projects. Work with and support the Sales and Marketing teams by participating in technical discussions and meetings with customers and product partners. Assist the sales organization by attending site-walk and pre-bid meetings on project activity. Track all site visits and keep detailed information of site conditions for use in the design of the engineering solutions. Act as liaison between and meet with sales, project management and operations when project is turned over for installation. Meet bid schedules and deadlines and work within and can meet a very strict timeframe. Attend and complete job turnover meetings as required to cover all details and expectations of project as they were designed. Provide and assist CAD with proper information packages Primary Interactions Internal: External: Estimating Customers Systems Engineers Contractors Pre-Construction Coordinators Project Managers CAD Sales Team Competencies and Qualifications 2+ years of AV design experience Proficient in MS Word, MS, Excel, MS Outlook Industry Certifications, CTS & CTS-D preferred Exceptional Time Management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Highly motivated with strong organizational skills Knowledge of AV materials and installation methods Able to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred. CTS required, CTS-D preferred Company Conformance Statement Perform quality work within assigned deadlines with and/or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, etc. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the need for communication and coordination of work efforts with other team members, departments, or organizations.
