| Job Description : | Job Title: Energy Storage Analytics Student Engineer Location: Palo Alto, CA Job Summary and Description: The student employee will be supporting the Energy Storage and Distributed Generation Program’s analysis team with AI/ML applications, develop algorithms and scripts, support techno-economic studies for energy storage and other DER + storage analysis. The student employee will engage with the analysis team to communicate the above activities’ progress, results, and integration into the broader project-level findings and deliverables. Education & Experience: Students with Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred. Coursework on Artificial Intelligence and Data analysis basics. Students with reinforcement learning background are preferred. Preferred experience with using reinforcement learning algorithms to solve real world problems. Software skills: Python Matlab EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
