Plus other perks such as quarterly company events. Job Description: Will work as part of the Core Products team to provide engineering support to internal and external customers. Will interface with Bluegrass and Decimal Manufacturing, Technical Services, Procurement, and others to maintain and improve Lantech standard product designs. Will work independently, or as part of a team, to apply engineering theory, practices, and skills, to solve moderate and complex problems while working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Will support cost-savings, life-cycle testing, and Product Development initiatives. Deliverables include schematics and panel plate drawings, and PLC ladder logic. Must be able to effectively manage a multiple project workload. On occasion, travel to customer sites to conduct problem solving in support of current technical equipment issues (less than 10%). Experience: Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience designing OEM equipment. Must be proficient in 2D drafting. AutoCad experience is required. Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs required. Experience with Siemen’s PLC is a plus. Experience with C++Microcontroller logic a plus. Experience with Support Suite a plus. Have one year mechanical/electrical assembly experience. Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required, Masters in Electrical Engineering or Masters in Business Administration a plus. Skills: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate good communication and interaction skills. Must demonstrate problem-solving skills. Must be able to follow processes/standard work and embrace change. Must be able to effectively manage a multiple project workload. Pay Range (based on experience and skill level): $50,000-$55,000/year |
