Job Opening for Electrical Engineer in EGGER Wood Products LLC (Lexington, NC)

Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, you will be expected to be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the building and implementing of project related requirements. During the project phase you will be learning more about the electrical needs of the operations.

Responsibilities
Provide direct support to all project areas, while meeting budgetary requirements and within agreed timescales.
Plan, install and commission equipment as required and monitor machine performance.
Assist with capital project planning and installation.
Ensure all electrical services are available, at required standards, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with others in planning and modification of area electrical distribution as required.
Keep all work areas in a tidy managed condition at all times.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
1-3 years of experience in an industrial electrical role in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA and variable frequency drives
Knowledge of EPLAN P8 would be helpful
