| Job Description : | EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: EHS PROFESSIONALPartners Environmental Consulting, Inc., a growing environmental, safety, engineering and surveying consulting firm with its corporate office in Solon, Ohio, and branch offices in Akron, Ohio, Syracuse, NY, Lebanon, NJ and Eagle, CO, seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Professional.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 to 10 years of experience. A minimum of a four (4) year degree in a science, engineering or environmental discipline is required, with a master’s degree a plus. Preference would be given to candidates that are a Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), but are not required. Must have a working knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance, including: regulatory compliance, compliance auditing, facility permitting, environmental management systems, safety and regulatory agency negotiations. Other areas of desired expertise include air emissions and permitting; wastewater and stormwater permitting and compliance; waste evaluation, handling and disposal; SPCC and release prevention and response; PSM/RMP; DOT HAZMAT; SARA/EPCRA evaluations and reporting; AST/UST compliance; PCBs/TSCA; and OSHA.Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training certificate is required, and professional certifications are a plus. The ability to interface effectively with internal staff and external Clients is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities are critical.
