The team you’ll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
The Optical Products Division develops and productizes state-of-the-art fiber optic communications equipment, which is used worldwide by leading providers to move data at unprecedented speeds and with uncompromising reliability.
What you will learn and contribute to
Our development team focuses on all aspects of design, implementation, test, and deployment of field programmable gate array (FPGA) devices and circuits for high speed optical networking applications.
As part of our team of experienced professionals, you will:
Work with design engineers to understand and implement feature requirements for FPGA and circuit board designs.
Perform testing at the subsystem level to ensure proper hardware and software integration.
Debug pack and system-level issues.
Provide follow-up on factory and field support for production and deployment phases.
Your skills and experience
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience in FPGA development, simulation, and verification methodologies.
Understanding of FPGA timing closure, constraints, and floor planning.
It would be nice if you also had:
Solid analog and digital debugging skills, such as C++, Python, or oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently towards root cause analysis.
