Combined with the strength of our parent company, Bel Fuse Inc., Cinch Connectivity Solutions aims to provide an unparalleled offering to the vast array of industries it serves.Primary Objective of PositionTo support the development of technologies, products, and processes, to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements of the customer.Job ResponsibilitiesTechnical Job FunctionsDesign new products or make modifications to existing products under direction of more senior engineers.Provide technical support for existing products to solve design-related performance, quality and cost issues.Apply working knowledge of applicable technology and industry/company standards to investigate new technologies, methods and test procedures.Establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships within assigned teams and with all applicable departments, customers and vendors.Assist in planning project scheduling and report project status per established schedules.Learn about and interact with other department functions regarding design projects.Authorities and ResponsibilitiesAssume other projects and responsibilities from time to time as directed.Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.Work with Production, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and Quality Assurance personnel. May interact with customer, vendors and other functional groups on occasion.Position will make daily decisions independently or as part of a team related to new product programs and product improvement efforts, including technologies as applicable to products and marketplace.Position will have indirect influence on long-range product planning and direct influence on manufacturing operations as related to new and applied technology.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation and ExperienceBasic QualificationsBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in a similar manufacturing environment.Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Job Type: Full-time |
