| Job Description : | Summary: JH Foster is a UL 508A & 698A panel shop seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing organization. This position will assist customers in achieving their safety, quality, productivity and automation needs. Job duties will include generating layouts, bills of materials, and schematics using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and strong problem-solving skills. In this position you will also be working with a range of industrial robots. Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development and implementation of electrical control systems Responsible for PLC, HMI, VFD programming and modifications Develop all project related documentation including schematics, bill of materials, instructions, etc. Maintaining and growing key client relationships Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems Recognize customer concerns and address proactively Work simultaneously on multiple projects Possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Other job duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field 3-5 years of industry-relevant experience Capable of independently developing complex machine system controls including hardware layouts and specifications, operational descriptions and specifications and programming to satisfy these specifications, testing and implementation. AutoCAD experience Experience with machine vision systems and motion control systems Computer experience with general business software including Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Robotic programming experience a plus Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet production schedule/project requirements. Valid driver’s license and insurable Working conditions & Physical Demands: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to sit and work at a desk the majority of the day and other physical demands customary to a typical office environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
