The team you’ll be part of
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise. The Optical Products Division develops and productizes state-of-the-art fiber optic communications equipment, which is used worldwide by leading providers to move data at unprecedented speeds and with uncompromising reliability.
What you will learn and contribute to
Our development team focuses on all aspects of architecture, design, implementation, validation, and deployment of circuits for high speed optical networking applications.
As part of our team of experienced professionals, you will:
Work with multi-disciplinary engineering staff to understand and implement feature requirements for circuit board designs.
Develop unit- and system-level test plans covering a variety of operating modes and conditions.
Devise test automation strategies and execute test plans.
Debug complex circuit pack and system-level issues.
Your skills and experience
You have:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Hands-on experience analyzing/troubleshooting complex analog and digital circuits.
Ability to work across disciplines to resolve deep-rooted hardware/firmware/software interaction issues.
It would be nice if you also had:
Experience with Linux, TCP/IP networking, and Python.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently towards failure analysis and mitigation approaches.
