Will Plan, Organize And Execute Engineering Tests In The Laboratory Or Manufacturing Environment. The Ae May Oversee One Or Multiple Dets During Execution Of Tests. May Have Ownership Of Medium To Highly Complex Equipment, E.G., Deposition Or Characterization, And Perform Operation & Maintenance Independently. Manage Daily Operation. Will Assist In Writing Standard Operation Procedures (Sop). Provide Analysis Of Simple To Medium Complexity Research Results, And Supports Others With Highly Complex Work. Can Identify And Implement Improvement Opportunities. Job May Need Travel To Other Sites Or Vendor To Support Cross-Functional Development Work. Experience / Education: Bachelor Degree In An Engineering Discipline Or Similar Technical Discipline With 2 Years Of Technical Experience Or 1 Year Of Experience As A Development Engineer Technician I At First Solar. Master Degree In An Engineering Discipline Or Similar Technical Discipline With 1 Year Of Technical Experience Or 1 Year Of Experience As A Development Engineer Technician Ii At First Solar. Required Skills/Competencies: Familiar With Factory And Lab Operation And Safety Standard Fluent Hand-On Experience In Laboratory Procedures Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Experiments Ability To Design Experiments Ability To Perform Preliminary Data Analysis And Write Test Report. Ability To Act As Equipment/Process Owners. Adequate Communication And Computer Skills Essential Responsibilities: Perform Tests And Evaluate Results To Demonstrate Performance Improvements On Solar Cells Responsible For Continuous Improvement On Equipment And Procedures May Coordinate Actions Of Manufacturing Operators And Team Leads In Carrying Out Engineering Tests. Ensure Experiments Are Documented. Communicate Results Of Engineering Tests In A Clear And Concise Manner To Peers And Managers. Ensure Adherence To All Safety Procedures And Housekeeping Standards.
