A Bit About the Role: Double A is seeking Security guru to join a formidable and growing team. The right person will help us drive appropriate security measures around the whole to various acoustic challenges, ensuring the user experience delivers quality audio and a quality experience. The role is high impact, high ownership. It directly influences the value of our virtual worlds because the sound is often one of the most critical elements of how event and meeting quality are perceived.

A Bit About You: The right candidate for this role brings a wealth of experience in Audio artifact detection and AEC. You would consider yourself an expert when getting out those crackles and pops, or even playback of sound! You have solved this challenge before and are game to solve it in a new environment but also are keen to bring state-of-the-art tech to play. Here’s the core:

Required Qualifications
You’ve got intense audio and sound skills: You have developed solutions in the absence of hardware and can work on a product that has unique challenges
Pro with telephony and Acoustic Echo Cancellation
5+ years experience in software engineering and integrated AEC algorithm reduction
Required Skills
Great competence with Javascript and C#
Experience with real-time audio
Ability to read C – you don’t need to be able to write it – but you do need to understand it.
Noise suppression, artifact reduction, spatial audio .. These are all skills you have in spades!

You have a sense where next gen audio is going and have an interest in developing this
