Performs field inspections, soil and groundwater sampling and testing. Liaison between on-site subcontractors and project manager. Analyze data. Prepare spreadsheets and other components of report.Duties/Responsibilities:Collect and sample soil and groundwater.Perform field inspections. Install and test monitoring wells.Oversee subcontractors. Prepare groundwater models. Analyze data and prepare reports and spreadsheets.Responsible to interface with engineering organization.Facilitate communication between subcontractor and Engineering on technical matters.Assure engineering practices, codes, and standards are compliant with Federal, State and Local, as well as, site-specific requirements.Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:BS/MS Environmental or Civil Engineering0-5 years experienceKnowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, a plusKnowledge of landfill operations and solid waste projects, a plusExperience in Surveying, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, a plusAbility to work on multidisciplinary project workExcellent oral & written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentSelf-starter and problem solverExcellent organizational skillsDevelops competence in own area by performing routine work.Applies knowledge and skills to complete own work. Understands relationships between work processes and the business.APTIM strongly recommends, but does not require, that its employees receive vaccination against COVID-19.
