Donson Machine is a family owned and operated Precision parts manufacturer in Alsip, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for our ongoing Manufacturing Engineer Apprenticeship. We encourage Industrial and Mechanical Engineers and recent graduates looking to get into the field and start your career to apply. Our program provides all necessary training through our hands on training program to get you the experience needed to grow into an Engineering career with us! After 3-5 years of structured training and experience on our shop floor, engineers earn the opportunity to use that manufacturing experience to help our customers create the best possible product. Requirements:
College Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
1-2 years of relevant work experience
Availability to work 40 hours/week (with opportunity for overtime)
Willingness and excitement to learn on a daily basis working through a 3–5-year apprenticeship program
Team player with excellent written and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to change quickly
Effectively problem-solve and deliver high quality results

Work alongside our experienced journeymen learning how to set-up and operate CNC Mill & Lathe machines as well as EDM’s.
