| Job Description : | Lead the development and execution of the Product safety strategy for High Voltage/High Power for the Power & Propulsion Solutions (PPS) business area. Develop or approve Product Safety Program Plans, defining the Product Safety tasking across the program life cycle.Prepare presentations and participate in Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and various working groups and safety review meetings both internal and with customers Coordinate with System Design and Test teams in defining and approving hazard mitigation provisions, and preparing test plans/procedures to support testing.Investigate Product related events with safety implications to develop corrective and preventive measures.Maintain required Safety documentation establishing compliance with contractual requirements and applicable regulations (Safety Case).Collaborate with peers across BAE Systems Inc. in relevant working groups Remote opportunity Required Education, Experience, & Skills A minimum of a BS in Engineering, Science or equivalent Safety experience. Electrical Engineering preferred with a minimum of 10 years experience in a similar field.Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).Must be experienced/fluent in MIL-STD-882, ISO26262, and Domestic/International safety regulations related to electric and hybrid automotive systems and energy storage systems.Must have completed a FSCP (Functional Safety Certification program) for automotive. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills A Full Spectrum Leader, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing diverse teams.
